Timothy “Tim” Holmes, Jr. established Timothy L. Holmes Law, PLLC. in early 2023. Prior to starting the practice, Tim worked for 18 years at the Port of Houston Authority in a Project Controls role within the construction management and engineering departments. During these years at the Port of Houston Authority, Tim gained invaluable experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, as well as interacting with a large and diverse group of clients of the Port Authority. After finishing law school while working full time, Tim began his legal career performing litigation and transactional work for an oil and gas law firm and then moved onto contract drafting and negotiation for a major health care provider in Houston. Tim then assisted a family law firm in the Sugar Land area before beginning his own practice in Pearland.

Timothy attended the University of Houston Clear Lake (UHCL) where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees. Timothy then went on to earn his law degree from the South Texas College of Law Houston. During his time at South Texas College of Law Houston, Tim also interned at a maritime law firm.

Coupled with his law degree from the South Texas College of Law Houston, and the knowledge gained from his extensive work history, Tim has the background and skills needed to represent you successfully with regards to Family Law, Estate Planning, and Contract Drafting and Review.

Outside of law, Tim enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two daughters, reading, watching classic films and maintaining and driving his two classic cars.
